HOW TO GET YOUR
PEACE BACK :

Having a battle in your mind? Do the thoughts you cast down, seem
to pop back up like a yo yo? Do you feel ‘pressured’
- Can’t seem to get any 'space' so to speak? Are
the thoughts ‘tormenting, testing and trying?
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
I) This is NOT from the Lord! "If God be for us, who can be against us"
2) Your Heavenly Father loves you.. "For the Father Himself (tenderly) loves you because you believe on Me and believe that I came out from God"
3) "Peace I give to you. My peace I leave with you" Do you feel that you are being ‘pressured’ - Even though you can’t see anything? Do you feel like you want to scream and bury your head in a pillow ? - Do you feel like you want to hit your head! (it’s ok to be honest!) Then the chances are you are dealing with a spirit being… Peace of mind is something mankind seeks after and searches out all sorts of means and religions to get it! True peace comes only from Jesus Christ. Firstly, peace with God.. “we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” - Next, we seek peace of mind! - We are taught how to keep our minds in control! "For the weapons of our warfare are not natural but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down thoughts and imagination's that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God" This is how you control your thought life. Reject every thought that is contrary to the Word of God! Whilst thoughts come and go like the waves of the sea, sometimes our best efforts to 'take every thought captive' seems fruitless. Firstly: For some strange reason, many people tend to think God is trying them to see how much they can stand?? "Let no man say when he is tempted, that he is tempted of God. For God cannot be tempted with evil, neither does He tempted any man" James. Secondly: YOU ALREADY HAVE PEACE! - Just before he went to the cross, Jesus said "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" John 14:27 and again… "These things I spoke to you, that in Me, you might have peace. In the world you shall have test and trials but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (Deprived it of power to harm you) John16:33 - We see clearly here that it the will of God that you have peace. Selah! You see this word a lot in Psalms. It means.. ‘pause and think about what’s just been said for a while’ - Understand that you already have peace.. Jesus left it you! Jesus is called The Prince of Peace. The problem is not one of ‘trying to get peace’ but getting rid of whatever is trying to steal our peace!' and that is the devil.. "The thief come not but to kill, steal and destroy.." - John 10:10 We spend a lot of time trying to get peace from God instead of getting rid of the thing that is stealing our inheritance Jesus left us! NOTE THIS: "We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this age, against wicked spirits in the heavenlies" Ephesians 6 (Open your bible now and read the sixth chapter starting at verse 10-19. It clearly states who the problem is. and if you are still in any doubt, Jesus said "Your enemy is the devil" (not the people or the circumstances) To combat this, the Lord gave us what is commonly called ‘The Armour of God’ 1) Use your authority to get rid of it! Jesus gave us the authority to do so. "Behold, I give you authority over all of the ability of the enemy. You shall trample on demons and devils and nothing shall by any means harm you" Luke10:19 – - "If you shall ask anything in My name, I will do it" John14:12-14 – Notice the word ‘YOU’ - not God or anybody else.. Jesus said he has given us the right to act against the evil one and he expects us to use it. If we will be bold and do what the Lord says.. He will back us up.. Torment comes from the enemy, peace comes from God. YOU have to start to say something. Jesus said "Whosoever (that’s us) shall say to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things that he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says" Mark 11:23-25 (Don’t forget the ‘forgive’ bit in here.. ok) Remember, Jesus told the disciples that THEY should have spoke to the storm.. So start by exercising your authority. Say "devil, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I demand that you stop stealing my peace! I demand that you hassling and harassing devils leave me. You have no rights over me. I am bought with the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ. I command peace into my spirit, soul and body in the name of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ the righteous One" Question: Do I have to say those exact words?Answer: No, not really but if you understand the ‘essence’ of what I am saying, you can speak it out the way YOU would say something.. Get the drift? IT IS WRITTEN! These are the immortal words our Lord used when confronted by satan. He didn’t say what He felt, He just said what the Word of God said about satans acuusations and tests. BUT first you have to know ‘WHAT is written, before you can do that! So.. get the Word of God into your heart by meditating upon them, as God told Joshua to do. That’s how I started out 24 years ago with healing. I would write down the Scriptures ion healing on a little card and put them in my top pocket. Then during the day, I would mediate, (means to think upon, to mutter quietly, to say over and over) After about 3 days of this, the power of God started to become very strong upon me and revelation started to arise in my heart. I knew it was God’s will to be healed.. now I Knew I was healed. Now do what Jesus did and speak the Word of God to the devil. DON’T say what you feel. Say what the Word says.. "devil, It is written: 'My peace I give to you, Mt peace I leave with you' It is written: 'We have peace with God through Jesus Christ my Lord and saviour' It is written: 'Jehovah Shalom, the Lord is my Peace' - Get these Scriptures into your heart.. Now start to thank God it IS done.. You may not feel like it is done but Jesus said "If you shall ask anything in My name, I WILL do it" - The Scripture says "..that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow.." Philippians.. If YOU don’t use your authority, they won’t bow! MINISTRY EXAMPLE: I was going through a hard time.. my mind was in turmoil. The thoughts seemed to overwhelm me and I felt like hitting my head! I was praying, trying to get some semblance of order back, when I heard these words.. "I receive the peace Jesus left me, I receive the sound mind Jesus purchased for me" I spoke those words out, again and again, over and over. Then I commanded the thing that was robbing me of my peace to leave in Jesus name.. Within a few minutes, there came a great calm.. Just like when Jesus spoke to the storm. I then understood what had happened. Jesus not only left us His peace as a part of our inheritance but He also paid the price for us to have a sound mind.. ~ ~ "for God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.. a sound mind" 2Timothy1:7 – Faith is acting on the Word of God. When the revelation came about what Jesus had already done, I acted upon it.. "Thankyou Jesus for your peace, thankyou Lord for the sound mind you purchased for me at Calvary. Thankyou Jesus for your peace that keeps my heart and mind" ANOTHER TESTIMONY:
I had experienced a very hard week (don't know why we put up with it so long sometimes!) On this particular day, there was great storm raging outside as well as one raging inside! My mind was tormented by all sorts of unclean thoughts. I was casting them down as fast as they came but the preassure in my head and heart didn't seem to change. I left the house and went down to the beach. It was the tail end of a cyclone! I forced my way out of the car and looked at the ocean. It was in as much turmoil as I was! As I stood there, this voice came out of the wind that was nearly blowing me over.. it said "Feel my power! I could blow you away if I wanted to, for my name is Dominion, for we are strong" With those words, the wind increased and howled at me.. Then.. I spoke.. (Jesus spoke to the storm and then asked His disciples why they didn't do it!) I said.. "NO - You are NOT big and powerful, YOU are dethroned and defeated! _ Jesus destroyed you at Calvary. In the name of Jesus Christ I rebuke this storm against me and I command peace to come in Jesus name" The words barely seemed to get out of my mouth, the wind howled and nothing looked or felt like it had changed.. BUT I said.. "It IS done - Jesus said so" - I managed to get back into the car, went home and went to bed praising God. When I awoke in the morning, there was a great calm.. outside AND inside! Whoopie! Praise the Lord! WORRY is a thief.. it will steal your peace! Casting all your worries, concerns, mental torments upon Him for his concern is for you” 1Peter5:7 ..with prayers and petitions, let your requests be made known unto God and the PEACE of God will keep (as a garrison of soldiers) your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Rejoice in the goodness of God (you probably won’t feel like doing that much either!) Get someone, or 2, to help you. Don’t stand alone if you are not strong enough. It’s no shame to ask your brother/sister in Christ to help you. That’s what the Body is for. “If one part of the body suffers, the whole body suffers” 1Cor12 “Thanks be unto God Who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus” - “Out of it all, the Lord delivered me and the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work” If you are Spirit filled, then praise God in the Spirit (in tongues) If not, then praise Him out loud in your language. “The Lord inhabits the praises of His people” Keep this up for a while. It’s by faith we overcome. (This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith”) not magic. People want a ‘poof’ and a bunny to jump out of the hat! Every time you say it and praise the Lord, your faith is giving substance to that which you hope for. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews11:1 RECAP:
1) Be assured that the Lord loves you and is for you.
2) Use your authority in Jesus Name.
3) Get the Scriptures into your heart by meditating the Word of God and by praise.

4) Praise God for the victory Jesus purchased for you.
He told me once:~ ‘The Lord is always merciful, the Lord is always gracious, the Lord as always willing to lend a hand’ God Bless John PS: I want to leave you with some words the Lord spoke to me when I was getting discouraged one time.. He said
