HOW TO GET
EMPLOYMENT.
by John Reynolds.
THREE THINGS TO
KNOW:
I) God is on your side! "If God be for us, who can
be against us"
2) Your Heavenly Father loves you.. "For the
Father Himself (tenderly) loves you because you believe on Me and
believe that I came out from
God"
3) "If any man doesn‘t work, neither shall
he eat" - "What things (things, includes a job) soever
you desire, when you pray, believe you have received them and you
shall have them" - "What things soever you ask in
prayer, believing, you shall receive
them"
We can see clearly from the Scriptures that God wants
you to have a job, a good job. Firstly to meet you and your
families needs and then to have some over to give to those in
need.
My Advice:I would plant some seed!
God said in Genesis. "that as long as the earth remains, it
shall be seedtime and harvest" This is not just a physical
thing, it's a spiritual law.. "Whatsoever a man sows,
that shall he reap" - Jesus said.. "Give and it shall
be given to you" - The apostle Paul said.. "God who
gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater, shall
multiply your seed sown and increase the fruits of
your righteousness" -
God needs something to work
with! -
When Jesus was faced with feeding the 5000, He asked
‘what do we have?’ - The disciples said..
'here’s a little boys lunch!' - Jesus took the
bread and fishes, multiplied them and then collected 12
baskets over! - When Jesus needed to minister to a multitude, He
asked the disciples for the use of their boat and they rowed Him
away from the shore. When He had finished, he told them to
"cast out their nets on the right hand side" - They
caught a huge amount of fish! - Notice: Jesus knows
'what' to do and 'where' to do it! Be obedient to
what He tells you to do.. Peter said, "We have toiled all
night (Their own labours had produced nothing!) Nevertheless,
at your Word.." The moral is: You can’t give to
Jesus without Him multiplying it back to you.. God is no mans
debtor! - The little woman in the Bible was about to run out of
food and die, when up rocks Elisha. "Make me a little cake
first" he said. So she made a cake with her last food and
gave to him. Then the miracle happened!- She filled every pot she
had and could borrow with oil (very valuable in those days) and
she was set free. He knew God’s law of giving and
receiving.. Sow some seed into others. Ask the Lord
what to sow and where to sow.. Jesus
knows where the fish are!
Ask Him for the job His grace has prepared for
you.. The Scriptures say "The good things (includes a
job) that God HAS (past tense) prepared for them that love
Him" -- We don’t have to court His favour. Because of
what Jesus has done for us, we already have it.. both with God
AND with man! Thank Him for it!
This is VERY important and a major reason why people
don't receive the job they think they should have..
"Lord, I want this job please" or "Lord,
Thankyou for the job your grace has prepared for me from before
the foundation of the Earth" ~ Oneof these is
'works' and the other 'grace' One is full of what
'I' want, the other is what God's grace has
provided.. Read the testimonies under "Praise" Here
about Jenny who did this!
"Lord, I thank you for what Your grace has
prepared for me and my family. I ask you Lord for that good job
and I thank you for it in Jesus name. I have confidence that You
have granted it me and I ask your guidance as to where it is. I
thank you for your favour upon my life and job applications
because of what Jesus has done for us. I cast all my cares,
worries and mental torments upon you, for I know you are
concerned for me. I thank you you for meeting all my needs in
Jesus wonderful name.. Amen"
Now, act your faith.. start looking for work with a
confident expectation of good.. that's what hope is.. and
your faith.. your looking and thanking Him.. is giving substance
to that which you hope for.. Hebrews11:1
Ask Him for wisdom in applying for jobs. Things may not
always be what they appear..
Then, everyday, or more, I would spend some time
thanking Him for the favour He has given you and for the job His
grace has prepared for you.. "
SCRIPTURES:
"What things soever you desire, when you pray,
believe you have received them and you shall have them"
– Mark 11:24
"Casting all your cares upon Him, for His concern
is for you" 11Peter5:7
"Thou are highly favoured, for the Lord is with
thee" Luke1:28 -
You are favoured too, because of what Jesus has done for us.. The
Lord is with thee too!
"The Lord is our refuge and strength, an ever
present source of help in time of trouble"
Psalm46:1
"What do we say to these things? If God be for
us.. who can be against us?"
