My
healing from Diabetes and a Conversation between the
Godhead:

A while back whilst I was working, I would suddenly come over all
weak and have to sit down.. I never thought a lot about it as I
was doing a lot of physical work and assumed by body needed a
break. Sometimes I would 'fall asleep' during these
times. Sometimes it would be for 5 minutes, sometimes a couple of
hours would go by. It was like someone just pulled my plug out! I
just kept speaking the Word of God as the little 'time
outs' continued.. One day when I went into the bathroom, the
Lord spoke clearly to me and said "You have got
diabetes son, you need to believe Me for your healing" I had
started to get some suspicions about this as my Mother had it and
it can be hereditary.. Nevertheless, I was still stunned but I
took a deep breath and asked the Lord to heal me. I believed it
was done and thanked Him for it.. I would stop during the days
and thank Him for my healing, even though the little 'time
outs' continued. The Word of God said "What things
soever you desire (I desired my healing) when you pray, believe
you have received them and you shall have them.. Mark11:23-25) I
believed and gave thanks..
This went on for a couple of months or so.. The symptoms remained
but I just kept thanking God for my healing.. One Thursday
morning I awoke and immediately started to pray in the Spirit (in
other tongues) I knew the Lord was doing something, though I
didn't know 'who' or 'what' (We walk by
faith) so I just continued to pray. The prayer continued
throughout the day. I just 'couldn't stop! The evening
came and went and I fell asleep praying in the Spirit. Friday
morning came and I opened my eyes and started to pray in the
Spirit again.. All day Friday I continued.. (I would stop for a
bit of lunch or so)Friday night came and went (I was still
working but I was on my own and just allowing the Spirit to help)
Saturday morning.. same again. I awoke praying in the Spirit
(1Cor14) This continued all day Saturday..
About 7 o'clock, I though I would go for a walk.. It was
getting dark, so I walked up the road, quietly praying in the
Spirit.. It was then the joy came! I started to rejoice and give
thanks. It felt like I was 3 feet off the ground!! I continued
walking and giving thanks for the work that had been done.. ( I
still had no idea 'who' or 'what' - sometimes I
don't know.. I don't really need to) i was nearly back at
our house when I looked into the sky and saw the Southern Cross
star group.. I lifted my hands to heaven and thanked God for what
His grace had just done.. After a bit I put my hands down and
headed home.. I took a couple of steps when the Lord spoke
clearly.. "You would have died from Diabetes son but I have
healed thee" I just stood there stunned as I considered the
implications and what had happened.. Then I 'really' gave
thanks and rejoiced all the way home..
The next morning when I walked into Church, a lady looked over
and said "Hi John, you look good this morning!' I said
"I'm going to tell you all why in a minute!"
Every symptom of diabetes had disappeared, plus all the baggage
that I was carrying as a result of it. I felt like I had become
20 years younger.. No more little 'time outs' - I was,
and still am, completely healed from Diabetes. When I told a
friend of mine (a qualified nurse) about the symptoms, she stood
there with her mouth open. She said "Do you know anything
about diabetes? You should be dead!" I said "No.. but
by the grace of God I am alive!" She said 'Those little
'time outs' were you blacking out! Your blood sugar level
must have been up around 28! Your blood become so thick, like
syrup, that your heart can't pump it anymore and you have a
heart attack!"
Now... about the conversation within the Godhead and my
healing...
The other night, I experienced a most awesome event. It was a
short conversation between the Godhead.. and it concerned my
healing from diabetes last year..
Before I tell you, I want to point out some things.. and show you
the scriptural basis for what I am about to say..
We ALL have questions don't we.. "Why did this
happen?" ~ "Why did that person die?" and so on..
I trust this will help you get some answers to those
'questions'
Jesus said, "I will send you another Helper" John14
(that word also means.. strengthener, standby, counselor,
intercessor, advocate).. The Greek word
"Paraclete' used here, literally means.. "one
called along side to help" Sadly, a lot of us haven't
understood HOW much He wants to help us.
Plus:
Jesus gave us a 'new' commandment.. It wasn't a
suggestion.. "A new commandment I give unto you, that you
love one another as I have loved you" We are expected,
rather commanded, to at least start to walk in that direction..
"Walk in love as dear children" the apostle Paul said..
As you know, I was supernaturally healed of serious diabetes last
year.. I spent 3 days praying in the Spirit. I didn't realise
it was for me, until the Lord spoke and told me so at the end of
it.. "You would have died from diabetes son but I have
healed thee" When I awoke the next morning, every symptom of
diabetes I had, was gone forever.
Well, the other day, I started to think about my healing again
and I realised something.. There are times when YOU pray with the
Spirit.. "I will pray with the Spirit.. I will pray with the
understanding.." 1Cor14 Here the subject is "I"..
it's something "I" decide to do and the Spirit
helps me accomplish the will of God in the matter. Then there are
times the Holy Spirit initiates things.. "For the Spirit
Himself makes intercession for us" Romans8. This is when
"He" initiates things and we co-operate with Him..
Understand what I am saying? "We are co-workers together
with Him"
I realised that it wasn't "me" who initiated the
prayer.. I awoke one Thursday morning and started to pray in the
Spirit (in tongues.. Hislanguage) Then I got to thinking
about "why" He would decide to do that and why some
Christians don't get help and suffer, or die prematurely.. Is
God a respecter of persons? The Bible clearly states.. "God
forbid!" There are 4 scriptures in the New Testament that
says He isn't.. He has no favourites. What He does for one,
He will do for all. I spent time pondering this. (Tip: If you
want to get an answer from God about something, a good way is to
start to ponder a matter in your heart. The Bible says..
"and Mary pondered these things in her heart" and when
Daniel was praying for 21 days to get an answer to prayer.. the
angel said to him.. "Daniel, the day you did set your
heart to understandand chasten yourself before your God, your
prayer was heard.." God looks upon the heart.. "All
things are open and naked before Him" You can't hide
anything from Him.. He knows the motive of your heart!
In Heaven.. Jesus is called the Word of God. His earthly name is
Jesus.. "In the beginning was the Word.. and the Word was
God.. and the Wordput on flesh" John1.. "and He
was clothed in a garment dipped in blood and.. and His name is
the Word of God" Book of Revelation.
It was late one night and I was lying awake in bed and I heard
this short conversation between the Godhead. It must have taken
place just prior to me waking up on that Thursday morning. It
began with the Holy Spirit talking to the Father..
The Holy Spirit said: "Father, John will die of diabetes.
He has always tried to walk in love and shown mercy. Let Me help
him, for this cause, You sent Me to him"
Jesus said: "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall
receive mercy"
and God said: "Amen"
and I awoke that Thursday morning and started to pray in the
Spirit...
The above is Truth. God sent the Holy Spirit to help us.. Jesus
said, "Gods Word is truth" ~ "I will send you
another Helper"
Let's look again at what was said. The Holy Spirit knew what
was about to come to pass in my life and presented my case to the
Father. One of His names is 'Advocate' That means a
lawyer.. one who presents your case.. and that's what He
did.. Remember, He came to help us. Now Jesus IS the Word of God
and what the Holy Spirit said about me trying to walk in love and
be merciful, was in line with the Word of God.. and Jesus said
so.. Then the God the Father said "Amen" or "So be
it" ~ "There are three that bear record in Heaven. The
Father, The Word and the Holy Spirit and these Three are
One" God is the "Faithful and the True"
This is not the first time I have heard the Holy Spirit speak
like this. I was praying in the Spirit one day, when I had an
open vision. I saw an old man lying on his bed and as I looked at
him, I knewthat his time on Earth was fast drawing to a
close.. As I watched him lie on top of his bed, I heard these
words.. "Father.. Don't let this man pass from the Earth
without the righteousness of Jesus Christ in his life" The
voice was so gently and Holy.. Tears ran down my eyes as I heard
those words.. I continued to pray until the joy came! Then I
knewhe had accepted Christ as his Lord and savior and
would now go to Heaven. I rejoiced and tears of joy came!!
There is a scripture that says.. "They that observe lying
vanities forsake their own mercy" ~ Do you understand now
why help seems to come to some and not others? Christians that
refuse to walk in love, or judge and criticise others.. forsake
their own mercy! "Make love your great quest" 1Cor13.
is the commandment from the apostle Paul.
I was ministering to lady one time who had really bad arthritis..
I knew by the gifts of the Spirit whilsi preaching, that firstly,
there was someone in the audience who had this disease and then I
knew who it was and pointed to her.. She said it was and came
forward and I prayed for her. The power of God came so strongly
to her. I asked her to act her faith and bend down.. To my
surprise, she couldn't. I prayed again and the power of God
came to her again but still she could not do it. I looked in my
heart for a reason and then I said to her. "Are you in
unforgiveness?" She said "Yes! I was only asking the
Lord this morning to forgive me because I could not forgive what
those people did to me" I then taught her about forgiveness!
You see.. she had forsaken her own mercy by not doing what Jesus
said to do. "..and when you stand praying, forgive, if you
have anything against anybody.." Mark11:25 It was God's
will to heal her and the power came to do so.. But she could not
receive it.
Am I some spiritual giant then? No.. not by a long way.. BUT I
purposed a long time ago, to try and walk in love and be
merciful, regardless of how much I thought that person was wrong
in what they had done, or are doing.. I have missed it many times
but I repent and move on.. I, like Paul can only say.. "Not
that I have obtained, neither were already perfect but I press
towards the mark for the prize of the High calling of God in
Christ Jesus"
This has changed my life and given me a greatly understanding of
God's dealings with Mankind. I trust it will do the same for
you too.

Addendum:
The Holy Spirit has guided me, preserved me and enabled me to do
the will of God.. He WILL do exactly the same for YOU too! I
would be dead if not for His help..
No wonder Jesus said "It is betterfor you if I go
away, for if I do, I will send the Comforter (Helper, Standby,
Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener) to you"
