Hi Everyone!
Greetings in Jesus wonderful name..
I was up early praying in the Spirit this morning after a challenging couple of days! When suddenly, out of the blue, here's what He spoke to me.
"Grace is His disposition towards us"
'Grace to you and peace, from God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour'
Then this came:
'God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him' (Hebrew 11:3)
What does He reward us with?.. Faith! - Why?..
So that we can freely receive from His grace!'
Jesus said: 'Fear not little flock for it is the Fathers good pleasure (gives Him great joy) to give you the kingdom'
We are trying to get Him to give us something.. when He already wants to give it to us!
We don't have to 'talk' Him into anything at all. He wants to 'freely give us all things with Christ' (Romans8:32) As we 'diligently seek Him, in His Word and in fellowship, faith starts to rise in our hearts. Read Mark chapter 4 about 'The sower sows the Word' for this is the principle parable..
'Faith is a product of the Word of God. "so then faith comers by hearing and hearing by the (spoken-Rhema) of God" The Bible is called the 'Logos, or written, or expression of God'.. As you meditate upon His Word, the 'Logos' or the 'seed of God' ('being born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible seed, by the Word of God")
The seed starts to sprout and grow and then bears fruit.. that fruit is faith! The written Word of God becomes the 'spoken Word' (or revelation knowledge, the knowledge of God revealed to our hearts by the Holy Spirit) and faith rises in our hearts. (again go to Mark chapter 4 and read what Jesus said about this)
"For without faith, it is impossible to please Him" So why is this? Because it is the only way to receive from His grace..
"By grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God" Faith is a gift that comes from His Word, that proceeds from His grace, His disposition, or attitude towards us. We cannot earn it and we certainly didn't deserve it.. yet because of what Jesus has done for us, we can come and freely receive from Him.. "they that have received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, shall reign (as kings) in (this) life through One, Jesus Christ" (Romans5:17)
"In His kindness towards us in Christ Jesus" The word 'kindness' is also translated 'goodness' When Moses asked to see His glory, God said He would make all His 'goodness' pass before him!
This is His attitude towards you this day.. and everyday! "I am the Lord, I change not" - "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever"
He told me once:
"The Lord is always merciful, the Lord is always gracious, the Lord is always willing to lend a hand"
Need a hand today? His disposition to you is one of grace (Divine favour and enabling ability)
"Ask (in Jesus name) and (believe, have trust, confidence in Him and His Word / promise) and receive.. (Why?) that your joy may be full" Jesus said so..
God Bless
John
