'Believe' by Jae Dobbie
'Believe' by Jae Dobbie
Last year, I was sharing my testimony about how the Lord healed my body from something at a church I was ministering at. I had been experiencing trouble with my stomach for a couple of weeks. I had prayed and was quoting the scriptures on healing. I sat down at home one day and my young kids had just climbed upon my lap, when the room seemed to fill with a thousand voices. They all said just one word. 'Believe' The air seemed filled with a thousand different voices all shouting 'believe' believe, believe'.. so for the next 20 minutes or so, I didn't say a word. I just 'believed in my heart' that I had received my healing' and as I did, the power of God, in the form of a warm glow in my stomach area, grew and grew until I was completely healed.
A young man, Jae Dobbie who introduced himself as 'The Four Square Poet' was inspired to write a poem about my healing.. Here it is for the glory of God.
When something happens and it gets in your way, if you're injured or taken a fall,
Just give it to Jesus, He'll help you receive it, my friends believe that's all.
When you're stomach is hurting or blood sugar is high, give it to Him for His Word cannot lie.
I believe you Jesus for healing us all, come on say it with me, Believe, that's all.
Believe, believe, believe, believe, I hear the voices all say.
Well I might just confess, in my heart I feel rest, my pain is slowly going away.
Believe, believe, believe, believe, I hear as the voices all yell.
As my stomach is burning, blood sugar is stirring, I'm cured by the Lord I can tell.
When you're not doing good and don't feel how you should, and your windscreen is broken and cracked.
Just speak up out loud and pray to the Lord, for He's sure to take care of all that.
When you need a new fence and it looks hit and miss, just stand on His Word for it still.
Because, when the time comes, what you ask will be done, the Lord loves us all, what a thrill!
